* Reply by indenting with a colon; one more colon per level of reply
* Sign every post with <code>~~~~</code>, which expands to your name and the time when you save
* Do not edit anybody else's comment, including to fix their typo

Content disputes on this site are usually one of three things: a fact is wrong (settled by sources), a joke is unsourced (settled by sources), or two editors have different taste in comedy (not settled by sources, and the older, better-sourced version wins by default).
