Ig Nobel Prize

From Witipedia, the funny encyclopedia

The Ig Nobel Prize is an award presented annually since 1991 for achievements that "first make people laugh, and then make them think".[1] Ten prizes are awarded each year, often handed over by genuine Nobel laureates, and the prize money has at times been a ten-trillion-dollar Zimbabwean banknote.

Recipients have included the physics of cube-shaped wombat faeces (2019) and a demonstration that a dead trout can be made to swim upstream (2024, Physics).
